The NutriSystem program is designed to help you lose approximately 1 to 2 pounds a week, which is considered to be the normal weight loss regime. There is a breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and 2 snacks allowed daily. The following is a typical sample menu:

Afternoon Snack

* 1 Fruit serving

Dinner

* 1 NutriSystem dinner entree
* 2 regular vegetable servings or 1 starchy vegetable serving
* Salad
* NutriSystem fat-free salad dressing
* 1 teaspoon of margarine or oil
* 1 NutriSystem skim milk alternative or 8oz. fat-free milk or yogurt

Snack

* 1 NutriSystem Dessert/Snack
