Tazorac gel
Usage
Tazorac is a prescription calcineurin inhibitor, which should be employed only when other medications have failed to work. It is used in the treatment of whiteheads (closed comedones), blackheads (open comedones), red pimples (papules) and pimples containing pus (pustules). Simply one can say that Tazorac is used in the treatment of Psoriasis and acne vulgaris.
Tazorac cream is available in strengths of 0.1% and 0.05%. Cream 0.1%: Each gram of 0.1% Tazorac cream contains 1 mg tazarotene. Cream 0.05%: Each gram of 0.05% cream includes 0.5 mg tazarotene. The non- medicinal constituents of Tazorac cream include benzyl alcohol, Carbomer 1342, Carbomer 934P, edetate disodium, purified water, medium chain triglycerides, mineral oil, sorbitan monooleate, sodium thiosulphate, and sodium hydroxide to regulate the pH.
